A career opportunity in Santam Technology Services (STS) for an experienced IT Project Manager. This role focuses on project management for software development and security, ideally based in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and execute effectively
• Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations
• Allocate resources and resolve conflicts
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed
• Manage project budgets and track expenses
• Lead and motivate project teams
• Implement process improvements and conduct post-project reviews

Qualifications

• IT Degree or Diploma
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with at least 5 years in software development
• Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of security frameworks (eg NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls)
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred), JIRA, and Confluence
